Try the slot machines and tables featuring blackjack, roulettes, craps and poker, plus a bar where you can sip on your drink as you play. The hallways are quite wide, measuring almost 20 feet in width and are adorned with works of art from many famous artists.



Shopping is a dream at the Mayfair Boutiques where you can purchase a wide selection of jewelry, perfumes, clothing and souvenirs. Upscale establishments, such as Harrod’s , will provide you with specialty items and there is a formal shop where you can rent a Tuxedo for one of the special events onboard the Queen Mary 2.

The impressive library is the perfect place to curl up with a good book or just to enjoy the sights through the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ship’s bow. There are more than 8000 books in this library so there is more than enough to keep you in reading material for the duration of your cruise.

Spend some time at the Cyber Centre, which is located in the ConneXions part of the Queen Mary 2. There are nine terminals where passengers can surf the net or check their email. If you wish you can also take computer classes to become more technologically literate.

There is a children’s program for families on the Queen Mary 2 where there is even a program for those aged between one and two years. There are different parties offered for teenagers so that they can socialize with those of their own age. In this way, parents have free time to engage in pursuits of their own interests.
The amount of deck space on is absolutely amazing and the pool area on Decks 8 and 9 is very impressive. With plenty of space for chairs and loungers, you can take in the sights and the sun as you sail along.
