From the economical to the luxurious, the Queen Mary 2 features a broad category of accommodations to choose from. You can choose to have an inside cabin that is quite spacious at 194 square feet or luxury duplex suite. There are 1310 cabins in all and over 900 of these have private balconies. You also have a unique choice in one of the 12 cabins that overlook the Atrium area of the ship so that you are inside, yet you do have a view.

The majority of accommodations on the Queen Mary 2 lie in the balcony and deluxe staterooms. These measure about 248 square feet and include a sitting area and walk-in closets. The bathrooms, while spacious and luxurious, contain a shower only. Some of these cabins are well-suited to families or a group of people who want to stay together and have interconnecting doors.

In addition to the ample space for the wardrobe, you have a desk where you can set up your laptop. There are also drawers for your storage use for clothing and personal items that don’t need to be hung in the closet. All the cabins feature a refrigerator for your use as well as an interactive large screen TV from which you can order room service or choose a shore excursion. The balconies are quite spacious and features plastic lounge chairs complete with cushions.

The largest and most luxurious suites on the Queen Mary 2 are the Balmoral and Sandringham Grand Duplex Suites which measure over 2000 square feet. The Queens Grill Suites are the smallest of the suites at 506 square feet and there are four other categories in between ranging in size from 1566 to 758 square feet in size.
The Princess Grill Suites measure 381 square feet and do come with turn down and concierge service as do all the suite accommodations on the Queen Mary 2. The Britannia Club Suites are a little smaller at 281 square feet and the Britannia Staterooms range in size from 155 square feet to 248 square feet. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in these staterooms, there is nightly turn down service and fresh fluffy towels are delivered to your room twice a day. You will enjoy such luxury that you won’t want to leave the ship when you reach the final destination.
